I was once sat on a GNER train when Ed Balls and Yvette Cooper were heading north with their children at the end of the week. They seemed like the most normal parents you would ever hope to see - helping with homework, intervening in squabbles. Just seemed like a decent family - one of those human experiences you rarely see with MPs and ministers. Made me think very differently about Ed Balls at the time.번역 보기

I am neither Labour, Reform, Tory or Lib Dem, and I know many don't always warm to her, but she comes across as one of the most level headed of government, is no firebrand like some other female politicians who like the sound of their own voice, and I like the fact they have protected their kids from the media. Its a good honest interview and highlights the issues around the failed Starmer leadership into government.번역 보기

I’ve just watched this interview with Yvette Cooper and George Osborne, and I’m quite surprised by some of the comments underneath it. I don’t agree with everything Yvette Cooper has done, but I do think we need to be a bit more balanced. If we constantly knock our MPs and politicians down, eventually people with credibility, experience and good intentions simply won’t want to do the job. Politics is incredibly difficult, and whatever our political views, I think we should recognise when someone is genuinely trying their best to do a difficult job.번역 보기
