I used to dream of a big, cinematographic life—not about fame or money, but about telling stories through your own existence and creating an exceptional narrative. But now, after life has hit me hard, after people have shown me how irrelevant human life can seem, after I’ve hit the glass ceiling, after I’ve faced social injustice, racism, misogyny, sexism, and eugenics—I’ve realized that the calm, modestly luxurious, silent, and even boring life like yours is priceless. Maybe there are no cinematographic stories, but you can keep peace of mind. You wake up every morning with a sense of absolute order and safety. You know what stability, balance, harmony, and true peace in life really mean. And such a boring life is priceless.
