side note: hey remember when entry level jobs involved actually getting trained to do higher-level jobs? that's what the "click point" animations were! interns and entry level employees were tasked with designing and animating little goofy things to cram into every single screen, and that was how they got their sea legs with the software and the industry as a whole. basic coding came into it as well. it's incredible how such a simple thing can both captivate the attention of a famously-distractible audience and provide an invaluable learning tool for the developers themselves. the industry used to have meaningful career progression. what happened to us?Ver traducción

What I really like about the games is how the main protagonist (usually child) is not treated like a kid but as an equal, it's the world that has been adapted to them. Like the problems that need solving are real adult problems, but they have been sculptured to be solvable by a kid using their problem solving skills. Not even the antagonists looks down on them. I just think it's a great detail that I love, it really helps the kids escape into their own world. Some cartoons do this too and I truly believe it helps kids with their self esteem.Ver traducción
