Ive followed Abdul's campaign nearly from the start. As a white dude, i have to address my cognitive bias. Seeing this conversation, my first reaction is "awwhh cmon yall making this about muslims, it should be irrelevant! It has terrible optics!". But after watching and thinking... i dont think i should be excusing the islamophobia in others or even myself. Part of me wants to say "cant you just whitewash yourself as a strategy to win first!?". But you really hit my heart when you said "i want to win this being my true authentic self"... i felt that. I have so much respect for you all i just want nothing more than for you to win, ill keep supporting your campaign and volunteering for you! ❤️번역 보기
