Rory Stewart Goes To A Trump Rally.

Agatha Christie had a friend who, out of curiosity, went to a Hitler rally. She came back elated, convinced that man had a real vision of the world's future, until she was asked to recount the actual content of his speech. It was then that she realized it was all banalities, nothing groundbreaking at all, and the realization terrified her. Just something I remembered a propos of nothing.번역 보기

I think we should commend Rory for putting on the MAGA hat. That’s true boots-on-the-ground journalism.번역 보기

The types of people Rory is describing are also very much present in upstate NY, and all over the country. They are the reason I finally decided to leave the country, after living there for 31 years (from the age of 11). I could no longer stand living with that level of religious psychopathy. Britain, whether secular, or its version of Christianity, is so refreshing (and much better for my sanity).번역 보기
