What happens a lot is I lose interest, then a year or two later I see it and ask "Why didn't I like it?" So I try it again, and since I'm already past the boring part I'm pretty close to when it gets good.

Prey was fun because what other game will condition you to walk into a bathroom and immediately become suspicious of a roll of toilet paper, and then attack it. You know, just in case.

Nothing frustrates me more than when a game doesn't respect my time. I'm not slogging through 10 or 20 hours waiting for the game to get good.
