Hi woolz, snake owner here, ball python and two boas. You do not ever want to microwave a frozen Mouse, what I do to thaw frozen mice is put them in cold water bath first to slowly defrost it then once they've gotten to a certain softness I put them in hot water to heat them up till they are hot enough for the snake to be able to sense them (if they have heat pits, Pythons do Boas don't) or just to increase the odor of the mouse or rat. Microwaving them has a very high chance to give you an exploding Mouse, not just in the microwave but once the snake constricts it the mouse could rupture, then you have ratvioli all over the enclosure.
