Rabindra dhant is indeed carrying burden alone. While martial arts are getting more popular people doesn't really view sports in general as serious career path. And about combat sports athletes, there's abiral Karki who is competing in k1 and there also yuki anbembe who grew up in Britian and is competing in mma. I think yuki is more skilled than rabindra but rabindra is better physically in my opinion because rabindra is just local raised in Nepal and in village to top that and he has worked physical labor(if I'm not mistaken he used to do physical labor in India breaking stones and stuff) meanwhile yuki grew up in Britian in less physically challenging environment and location. But i definitely think yuki would enter UFC too alongside rabindra but I see rabindra having more potential since sports in general aren't really looked high in Nepal there aren't really better training facilities but since he has been winning, promoting himself and earning well he has been able to afford better training since he is currently training alongside yuki in Bali. And with better training facilities, better coach and training partners he is bound to improve. I think he has improve so much compared to 3-4 fights ago. He looked great when fighting and dominating chungreng Koren 2 fights ago but he looks even more impressive now. So I must admit that my expectations for him has grown quite a bit. And about him being carrying burden alone, I believe his career will change Nepali people's perspective on the sports and will take it seriously as a career path. But then again people here in Nepal would rather be army than do sports because army is kinda easy job and even if you die your family getting money which is why you would often see Nepalese working as mercineries or army of foreign nation rather than doing sport. So I think aside from those whose family have history of joining army, I think it would be better for people to do combat sports instead. But yeah I think rabindra dhant will bring some positive change for sports in Nepal especially combat sports. His coach and promotor(not sure) diwaz lama is already trying to meet and negotiate with sports minister right after rabindra dhant beat Kasib on the same day. So I really have high expectations in him in both getting into mma and changing Nepali people's perspective towards sports in general. But yeah let's see what happens. I do think even if rabindra dhant don't beat tajima he might get contract because he has big fan base and his style is quite exciting. But yeah let's see what happens.번역 보기
