Let me ask a question: where does the confidence in your expectations about CGI come from. Clearly it doesn't come from another movie with a similar scene that was done better, cause I've never seen it. How can you be disappointed with something looking too CGI if you don have a reference point to compare to. You enjoy the comics, right? Well those are drawings and are far less realistic. I mean, we're you expecting to see real life sentinels? Come on fellas, let's use some logic here. The only thing you can use is CGI, because sentinels only exist on comic books. Because of the magnitude of their size , of course it makes sense to CGI the scene. Everybody needs to come back to reality I think. How often do you ever get anything you really, really want, perfectly how you wished it to be. We got doom and sentinels in a movie! It's a dream come true. But we want to nit pick over some destroyed rubbish in the background that you wont be focusing on, because it doesn't looking real enough in a scene that cannot exist without using CGI. The time you've ever seen destruction like that is 9/11 or a war zone. Contrary to what you think, those things are rare events and those scenes are not easy to pull out of your ass and replicate YOU WERE NEVER GOING TO SEE THAT SCENE SHOT THAT WAY, NO MATTER WHICH STUDIO/DIRECTOR FUNDED/SHOT THAT MOVIE. PERIOD. BECAUSE EVERYTHING IS ALREADY CGI IN THE SCENE What are we even talking about? Would you rather them use time/money/resources on real destruction in a background scene or CGI that shit like 95% of the scene already is and use that time/money/resources on scenes that actually are focused on and can actually be replicated to realistically. Think smarter not harder fellas. When you go to McDonald's. Sometimes the wait is a little too long, the burger or fries a little cold, or at times they might mess your order up. But your still happy to eat it, and still willing to go back, and don't feel the need to nit pick it, right.
