Afterthoughts & Addenda Preheat time - it's true that the total cooking time for a Fray Bentos pie is 30 minutes plus however long it takes for the oven to preheat - I did consider extending the challenge time by that amount, but it just felt like that would be pleading to make it easier. I typically tailor the constraints on these challenges to try to make them... challenging. Why not butter? - A sealed bottle or jar of bought mayo will last in the cupboard for a year or more. A block of butter, only months in the fridge. Butter would of course be better, but I felt that using it would just make this not really a fair response to the main selling point of Fray Bentos pies - their shelf-life. All of these sorts of questions come down to drawing a line somewhere, then staying on one side of it. Yeah, but why mayo? - It's something I always have in the fridge, and a spare in the cupboard.번역 보기
