It's such an insult when upper middle class and even wealthy people downplay what it is like for people who live paycheck to paycheck. EDIT: Since I've received so many replies on this comment from corporate bots and bootlickers that revolve around the same theme that people who are struggling financially is because of their own fault, let me point something out that's an actual fact, rather than a bunch of victim blaming BS like they're spreading. In the 1970s, a line cook with a stay at home wife and two kids bought a modest home. That same home just sold for almost $700,000! No line cook today can afford that, let alone one with a stay at home wife and two kids. Not even close! And never mind all the other things that are much more expensive today than they were back then! So, it's not about "laziness;" it's about greedy wealthy and corporations buying politicians to set up a system that keeps squeezing the working class tighter and tighter, to the point that they can hardly survive even if they a full time job! EDIT 2: The tendency for certain people to resort to blaming financially struggling people for their own woes is perfectly understandable. Yes, it's true that some people make bad financial decisions. But the reason so many people resort to blaming everybody who struggles financially for their own plight is because if they were to acknowledge that our economic system is inherently unfair and purposely designed to benefit certain people and make it extremely difficult for certain other people to get out of their financial hole, then they would be forced to acknowledge that perhaps their own financial success was not fully earned purely through their own effort.번역 보기

I literally live hand to mouth. My rent has TRIPLED since the pandemic. The cost of living has skyrocketed. I can no longer afford to pay for Health Insurance yet they are still paying $14 an hour here in Florida. And I speak two languages and a bachelors degree. The struggle is real. I’m 50 year old pairing up as roommates. Multiple families living together it was not like that when I first moved here out of college. Bank Of America sent me a message saying that my checking account is trending towards zero after they charge me a $12 maintenance fee . It’s very scary to be living like this.번역 보기
