It's pretty dumb the parents didn't just cancel the 45,000 dollar wire transfer and report wire fraud. It takes days for a wire transfer to complete, especially on a weekend. The whole process is as simple as clicking a few buttons and then changing the passcodes. It takes less than 5 minutes. Then, when she confronted Callum after chasing him down in her parents' SUV, why didn't she record his confession? If you're going to confront someone, make sure you make a record of it, even if it's inadmissible in court in your state. It can still get the ball rolling on an investigation.
