Wanted to clarify some things since this video's gone way farther than I expected: There is nothing wrong with a theory being wrong! Do not feel discouraged from making one of your own. Theories are meant to be fun way to share ideas and express creativity. I was harsh on GT for how disconnected their theory feels, a video made by an entire team that has less coherency and research than most you'll see on youtube made by one person. I am not right about everything! I made this video casually and for fun based on my own ideas and understanding of the lore. When I talk about something like its fact, it's not always fact! Getting things wrong is a great way to learn, and I learned a lot from making this video :) Lastly, I really hope this video didn't come off as too mean spirited toward Game Theory, I really do wish Tom and his team nothing but the best. 15:05 We don't even have to ASSUME that the Holiday family exists in Undertale, it's been outright confirmed that they do. Asgore has Winter Alarm Clock dialogue talking about them. "Rudy... loved the holidays, you know. Around that time of year... He'd put on his glowing red nose... And we'd walk into the night together, Placing presents side by side in the snow." In a later bit of dialogue, Asgore also mentions going into Rudy's house and seeing Rudy's "youngest daughter peeking shyly from around the corner." This daughter is obviously Noelle (due to her shy nature), and her being the "youngest daughter" would imply that she has an older sister, which of course would be Dess.
