People in the North of England are not going to accept bad value, even if they are very young. Bloody nine pounds for two is indeed a scam

A quid is slang for a pound. The same word both singular and plural. So £1 = a quid, £2 = 2 quid, £10 = 10 quid.

Quid is just slang for pounds. We have pounds and pence/pennies. 100 pence to a pound and a penny is shortened to one p (pee).
