It was high & hot according to ADS-B data. Final approach speed is supposed to be around 130-140 knots and ADS-B reports that they came in at 180 kts. They were also above the altitude that they were supposed to be at. Most likely scenario is that they picked up too much speed in an attempt to quickly descend to the approach altitude, and didn't have enough runway length to stop. It's called an "unstable approach" and every commercial operator requires the pilots to go-around if they aren't stabilized - meaning correct altitude and airspeed for a correctly configured aircraft (flaps/slats/gear position) when they begin their approach.번역 보기
