Hey Fumblit, Pytox here (the original creator of The Button Room). Huge thank you for covering this situation and bringing much-needed attention to how vulnerable Roblox developers currently are. I wanted to clarify a few key technical details, as my case was quite a bit deeper than a standard cookie logger: It was a full RAT / Infostealer, not just a cookie grabber. The malware completely compromised my system. It hijacked my desktop Discord client files (core.asar injection), accessed my Gmail session to intercept 2SV verification codes, and compromised my accounts directly from the machine. Pebble and his network are far worse than they appear: A systematic criminal operation: They’ve been running this for years. Pebble openly bragged in DMs about buying a $100k car purely off stolen games. I am far from the only victim—multiple established developers have had their projects hijacked by this group. Malware infrastructure: He operates multiple fake landing pages and spoofed sites designed to distribute stealer payloads. Scam courses: He even runs a website selling "courses" and tutorials teaching other threat actors how to socially engineer devs and steal games. DMCA fraud & perjury: After stealing the project, they attempted to file fraudulent DMCA takedowns against my new work with falsified legal info to extort group percentages, committing blatant perjury. The aftermath and karma: While Roblox Support repeatedly closed my tickets and refused to restore the original game despite all the evidence, karma caught up with them. The hacker's primary accounts were permanently terminated by Roblox with over 10M Robux trapped on their balances due to black-market trading (RMT) and fraud. Losing a project at 5k CCU was devastating, but I didn't give up. I built The Button Room 2 completely from scratch with clean code and a dedicated community. The new game is growing fast and already on track to surpass the original. To every developer watching this: never run external files, never compile unfamiliar code outside an isolated virtual machine, and always use hardware-based 2FA.
