another thought: Imo the damage of pornography goes hand-in-hand with the quality of formal sex education you receive. The less actual education you have on sex and how to both have it and APPROACH it healthily, the more you will rely on unhealthy outlets such as porn to "teach" you where qualified sources have not; and, the more you will perceive porn's depictions of sex as realistic, because you don't have alternative input to compare it to! This is especially true for pre-teen and teen years, which is why it's SO important to teach the young'uns about sex from an early age!! Lived first half of my childhood in UK, second half here in US where I live now, and neither country struck me as having adequate sex ed. In the UK I recall the only sex ed we got as kids was the classic "learning where babies come from," and in the US...I think lots of us know how dire US education is overall, let alone in sex ed. I was lucky enough to be in the state of California, one of the only states in the country that teaches you anything beyond how to get pregnant. In that sense I was very lucky, as I credit this education with helping me form a healthier (if you can call it that) relationship with porn. I found porn at WAY too young of an age, but because it was after I had already been well-educated in how sex and pleasure actually works **including for women**, I was able to recognize alnost immediately that porn is NOT realistic and does not in any way represent a realistic pleasurable encounter for ANYONE—but especially women and/or receiving partners.번역 보기
