The song is dedicated to his wife who he lost to cancer - and in short succession his brother died, as well. After all this he was about to give up singing completely - but his daughter asked him not to. Grönemeyer actually went to live in London for, I think, two years. He wrote the song - and a whole new album - during this time and also recorded it in London. After publishing the new album he went on tour with it. The concert in Gelsenkirchen at the Schalke 04 stadium I believe was the first concert of the tour - so if my information is right, you saw him here singing it for the first time in front of a paying audience. We lost my husband 's brother a couple of months ago. His wife is mourning😢😢😢. She said she thinks of him every minute, every second. It is so hard to lose a beloved person. Herbert found the right words for this feeling. Thanks for your reaction번역 보기
