It's always a thing with my ride group, on non assist mtb's, to see who can make it to the top on short, nasty and really steep climbs. That was pretty amazing to see you making it to the top of a really steep climb after stopping. It reminded me of riding my dirt bike when I have a get off while climbing and getting back on.

The Hill Assist holding the bike on a 72% grade is genuinely impressive – I’ve had my rear wheel slide on much less. But I wonder how it performs on wet, muddy roots where the brake lock might cause the tire to slide sideways instead of holding position.

I was with a bike shop who is supposed to be selling the Amflows. Went to try and order the PR and it's gone from Amflow's ordering site. You can still order the PL but I wonder if they couldn't get the PR made, these are made in Taiwan through Giant who is having a lot of problems. We'll see...
