I think people are under the impression that Cornwall and Devon are rich areas based on price of housing and the cost of living. But a lot of this wealth is from incomers, not from local industry. Much of the local workforce are only serving holidaymakers and wealthy weekenders rather than in long term, well paid, high skilled jobs. This is just part of living in a rural area, here in the Yorkshire Dales it is no different, we have to accept that not all areas are ever going to centres of industry. like myself I had to move into a city for work and later in life move back to the area of my childhood. I think this is common the world over.번역 보기
