My opinion on the reboot is somewhere in the middle. On the plus side, I thought it was great seeing Justin and Alex as parents and finding out how their lives turned out after the original Wizards ended. The idea of Mason dying and Alex finding love with someone else is interesting, too—as is Alex turning Damien good or the storyline about the missing daughter. I like that Roman, Milo, and Billie share the same dynamic as the original trio, and the happy ending is definitely a plus. On the downside, I missed a few characters (especially Max and Jerry—particularly in the restaurant scene). I’m also not a fan of the third season; in my opinion, the decision-makers took too many shortcuts and left too many questions unanswered (especially regarding Damien and Alex’s relationship). I missed having a serious conversation between Damien and Alex, yet the finale spent time—unnecessarily, I think—recounting events from the rest of the reboot. Also, I struggle to buy into a relationship I only saw in a few brief shots. And unfortunately, Season 3 focused so heavily on finding Alex and wrapping up the story that it lost some of the show's humor along the way. As for a potential movie, I doubt it will happen. I know there was talk of a possible film after the first season of Wizards Beyond Waverly Place wrapped, but I think there is too much going on with the series right now for a movie to be made. Plus, Selena Gomez has already said goodbye to the role of Alex Russo. Then again, this is Disney, and with Disney, you never know for sure. Honestly, I’m not a fan of the idea of a movie centered on a wizard tournament—we already had that with *Wizards of Waverly Place*. Besides, I don't really get why Billie would compete against her cousins. To be honest, I’d prefer a flashback that delves into the early days of Damien and Alex’s relationship—something we know practically nothing about.번역 보기
