Hi, I'm a survivor and have been working on a project related to Primetime and TCAP, especially around the disregard for survivors in the name of protecting us. I want to say that this is the first video on the topic, and I have watched about 20 at this point, that I have enjoyed. I think you got past the weeds that a lot of other reviewers/critiquers got stuck in. However, I will say that I hated the movie. I found that it did the exact same thing that the show did in exploiting us, and most of the arguments you made about tcap really can apply to primetime as well. Aside from my personal feelings, this opinion was solidified by audience reactions while in the theatre and reading comments on videos... I believe the audience should have been shamed more for the part they play in enjoying the sadism as you called it. And called out for the self-righteousness they hide behind (as you said) to justify not actually caring about survivors and child wellbeing. I had audience members laughing at the chat logs being read out and I'm surprised I didn't commit assault. I think that the audience can see what they want to see in Primetime, and I think that's a failing of the film's direction, that people aren't left with a clear message. IMO, this is not the type of topic to leave up to debate. Really enjoyed your video and the fact that you referenced actual survivor opinions on it.번역 보기
