I'm surprised that they didn't pay tribute to Sirius, a bomb-sniffing police dog who died in the basement of the World Trade Center during the September 11 attacks. Officer David Lim was his partner and handler from the Port Authority Police Department. His kennel was in the South Tower, and Sirius was placed for safety when the first plane struck. Officer Lim told him, "I'll be back for you," before rushing to help people evacuate. The collapse of the tower killed Sirius instantly. Workers found his remains in January 2002 and removed them with a full police honor guard. He was the only canine killed in the attacks번역 보기
