Though I agree with eveything you said, I wanna add one thing: What Arman has done the past 1 year might have been better for him than cashing in 1-2 easy fights to prove his spot. I remember after he pulled out from his title shot, he was barely known except from committed ufc fans of course. After all he did the past 12 months, he really build himself like a brand, now even friends of mine who don’t watch UFC know about him and most importantly: Now a much larger group of people are hyped to see him fight. Some wanna see im lose, some wanna see him win. A loss would really set him back, but his “value” might make it a little easier to negotiate himself back to the top, since so many people now wanna see him.
