Another Game Gets 'Banned' in Australia... Why?

Hello everyone! just wanted to clarify a couple things from the video. (i'll add more in an edit if I think of anything else.) 1. If you bought Gamble With Your Friends before it got taken off the store, you can still play it. The delisting only stops anyone in Australia from buying it in the future until it gets passed the ACB. 2. The new ratings for games with simulated gambling and loot box mechanics do not get applied retroactively. So any game released before the 2024 change, keeps its old rating. One last thing i want to touch on. I have a rule that I generally try to keep my content very apolitical. I'm mostly here to talk about videogames. I find politics (especially online) to be a topic that is exhausting to talk about, hear about, and immerse myself in. I always dread election cycles because more often than not it's a bunch of politicians campaigning on the wrongdoings and missteps of their opponents, rather than how they can make Australia better. I've been seeing quite a few comments throwing blame at every political party under the sun. I'm not here to change your minds or tell you how to vote. But if this issue is something that matters to you. Make your voice heard somewhere other than the internet. Arguing with people who are more than likely bots on Facebook, Twitter, Reddit, Youtube, Insta, etc. Doesn't get anything done in reality. As cliche as it sounds, you should write to your representatives, and the most important part about writing to them is to be respectful. That example of the guy sending an angry message to the ACB I used in the video (4:40) is a prime example of how to get you and whatever cause you are interested in completely written off. If you don't hear back, or they don't seem receptive, then write to their direct opponents. Try and get assurances that your voice will be heard. But also once they're elected, make sure they are keeping their promises. There are resources out there like theyvoteforyou.org.au that track what politicians vote on what, how they generally vote when it comes to certain issues as well as their attendance record.번역 보기

If I turned off my adblocker and took a sip every time I saw a gambling ad, I'd be dead within the hour.번역 보기
