Hi Heather, I live in Puerto Rico, and even though we do have a drought, our government never works toward keeping our systems maintained. Our governor is a Trump sycophant who is letting millionaires and billionaires buy up land to make developments that don't help ordinary people. Esencia is a project in the southern part of the island, and our government wants to drain an aquifer to make way for million dollar homes and golf courses. This isn't even the only development planned. We need to keep protesting and get these people out of power. Our island needs more progressive politicians and to get rid of the corruption we have here, too. Thanks for keeping us informed. You always make me feel hopeful 💕번역 보기

In the US, we are so accustomed to money buying elections that we don't really think of it as corruption. But actually, money buying elections really is corruption. The Roberts Supreme Court has decided that money has the same free speech rights as human beings. And in spite of US law stating that no person may cast more than one vote, money is allowed to cast thousands, actually millions, of votes. That is indeed corruption.번역 보기
