The parrot was the one that touched me to most. I'm not surprised it staid by its owners side when it was found. I saw when it was pulled out from the rubble barely clinging to life. As a parrot owner for over 30 years it made me want to cry. Sadly the parrot has since died, but I am thankful to the people who took the time to care for it, and tried to save its life.
