Gochujang in kimchijeon would probably make it taste bit dense or “stuffy”. I would leave it out for a more standard and authentic kimchijeon.번역 보기

If you put gochujang in a kimchi jeon, you're taking the flavor into a whole new direction. For people trying to make kimchi jeon for the first time, I'd recommend leaving the gochujang out and then adding it to another batch later to see the difference. For those wanting a jeon that really celebrates gochujang, search for a recipe for "jang-ddeok." Delicious! Thank you, Eric! Love your videos and recipes. Happy Chuseok!!번역 보기
