I have been coming to Thailand for 10 years. In recent years, Thailand has significantly ratcheted up its prices—the goal being to attract "upscale" tourists rather than the typical, average visitor. Yet, the infrastructure has not really improved; the same old scams persist, the traffic remains chaotic, and many other aspects have seen little to no change. Thailand wants to charge the price of a high-carat gem, but in reality, it only offers a dusty silver bar. That is not a sustainable model in the long run.번역 보기

Restrictions, extra regulations and fees are not the way to bring in more tourists. I have been to Thailand 23 times now and the changes are undeniable.번역 보기
