FLORESCA CINDY JANE F. BSAF 1D I discovered that societal norms and people's beliefs had a major impact on the advancement of science. In ancient civilizations such as Mesopotamia and Egypt, science was applied to agriculture, religious practices, and governance. During the Middle Ages, the Church controlled knowledge, requiring it to conform to religious doctrine, yet in the Islamic Golden Age, religion and state supported scientific progress. In the modern era, science gained more freedom due to the printing press, capitalist economies, and new institutions. This indicates that science is shaped not only by scientists but also by culture, politics, and public beliefs.번역 보기

LODOR, CEDRICK DC BSAF-1D From the video, I realized that Science, Technology, and Society have all advanced together across history, stretching all the way from the earliest civilizations down to our present time. As time passed, new knowledge and inventions came about to solve the difficulties people face, satisfy what we require to live well, and make our daily activities more convenient and efficient. These developments did not just stay as tools or ideas they deeply shaped the communities we belong to and the way we go about our lives. Up until now, this progress keeps affecting how we think, work, and relate to one another. It shows that science and technology never stand alone they grow alongside society, and each step forward changes how we experience the world we live in.번역 보기

LIEZEL MAGDAONG BSAF 1D I learned that science and technology never develop in isolation. They are always shaped, driven, and sometimes limited by society by religion, government, economic needs, and the beliefs of people in every era. I learned that science began as a practical solution to everyday needs. It wasn’t just for curiosity math and astronomy were developed to plan farming, predict seasons, govern communities, and practice religion. This shows that early knowledge was built to serve society and people’s way of life. I also realized that progress isn’t always simple or one sided. Even the institutions that helped preserve knowledge long ago also sometimes limited free thinking. This taught me that knowledge grows best when we’re free to question and explore.번역 보기
