The Board of Deputies is an important Jewish representative organisation, but I wish the BBC would stop treating its pronouncements as though they automatically represent the views of all British Jews. British Jews aren't a political monolith any more than Muslims, Christians or any other community are. There are Jewish people and Jewish organisations with sharply differing views on Israel and Zionism, and those voices deserve to be heard too. Presenting one organisation's position as simply “the Jewish view” actually erases that diversity.번역 보기
