It's so crazy how a simple change like Malfoy being a female instead completely changes the dynamic of their rivalry and evolves it, while keeping core elements of the narrative intact. Having Malfoy as Harry's love interest and partner for the Yule Ball eliminates the throwaway Parvati Patil and adds a much deeper meaning to that scene and sets it up for the intense later scenes like Sectumsempra, the moment right after Snape kills Dumbledore, Fiendfyre, etc. to have another layer of emotion, all the while knowing that both of them still love each other. It all builds for that final payoff at the end, with the overall theme of "love being the strongest magic" coming full circle.번역 보기
