There is no question that the environment in which these fighters train, their long history of wrestling and Abdulmanap Nurmagomedov's training in judo and sambo were instrumental in building the foundations of their school. Also combat sambo was an excellent basis for developing into MMA, which gave them a significant edge. However, his long influence and dedication to helping raise good people as well as good fighters is the major thing that separates him from many other training camps. I am not a religious person at all, but their belief in Islam, and their strict adherence to it's tenets is a basis of self-discipline which can then be easily aligned into their entire lives, both training and the rest of their life. The records of the fighters that have been a part of their school is beyond impressive, and the fact that Khabib took over the reigns from his father, after his tragic passing meant a continuation both of their name, and also their philosophy. I have no doubt that other fighters who come from this school will retire and return to coach the younger generation. They deserve their success, and they work very very hard to achieve it.
