Sorry, Emily, you say that Foot and Mouth wasn't a big thing and didn't affect many people?! Perhaps not in London. I lived in Cumbria and only local radio kept us sane. Farmers suicides, livelihoods gone. Thousand upon thousands of animals culled. I myself lost my livelihood and had to sell my home. You southern city based reporters simply hadn't a clue and clearly didn't care how rural comunities were ravaged by that outbreak.번역 보기

I was a kid when it happened and I don't think the weight really hit me at the time beyond being annoyed the cartoons were cancelled. The 7/7 attacks a few years later hit me a lot harder, and a few months ago I visited the 9/11 memorial museum at the site of Ground Zero. Deeply saddening, and a lot to take in번역 보기
