I am 69 years old and live in Sweden. During school we learned about both the Mercator and Gaussian projections and why our country up north became different sizes. On my bookshelf I have "George Philips World Atlas" from 1979. It is a Swedish edition but the pages are printed in London. It contains both a world map with the Mercator projection and a "Physical World Map" for the eastern and western hemispheres and they are in "Lambert's surface azimuthal projection" which shows the countries with the correct relative size.번역 보기
