The T-virus's primary purpose is to create monsters to be used as weapons, the Tyrant being the most prized. It's also used to create Hunters and Lickers. The zombies are what happens when humans are exposed to a raw form of the T-virus directly, which usually happens as a result of an accident. Zombies are an unwanted side effect of direct T-virus exposure. Umbrella paid William Birkin to create a more productive version of the T-virus, but Birkin was a madman who instead created the most aggressive mutagenic virus he possibly could, which became the G-virus. Monsters created by the G-virus never stop growing, mutating and evolving and even Umbrella eventually realised it cannot be controlled. The G-virus is 10x more dangerous and frightening than the T-virus. One of the things I've always liked about the G-virus is that even most of the amoral villains in the franchise don't want anything to do with it.번역 보기
