I have 4 rabbits 🐇 🐇🐇🐇 a 9 year old amarican giant chinchilla mix breed, a 6 year old holland mini lop american giant chinchilla mix, a 3 year old flemish giant and a 1 year old lion head mini rex mix. And they do good at the vet but yes they hate it. They will fight me tryin to get them into their stroller and kennels. Kick and scratch me usually have to get a towel get the stroller and kennels ready before hand wake up about 3 hours before the appointment because we live a hour away from our vet one way. And then quickly drape the towel over them pick them up like a bunny burrito wrapped up n the towel so they cant escape or scratch me then gently place them n the kennels or stroller give them their stuffed animals to cuddle with and some hay. Then gotta load them into the truck. Its a extra hassle as we live in alaska and it gets cold as hell n the winter here so i gotta warm the truck up for a bit first before i bring them into the truck. In winter i leave a towel in the stroller or kennel they can burry themselves in to help keep them warm. Then when we get to the vet a hour later. Gotta have help bringing them all in. 2 of my 4 will allow the vet to place them on the table thats bokatan the lion head mix, and tarah the giant chinchilla mix thats 9. My flemish giant ahsoka and brooke the 6 year old holland mini lop mix hate the table and will actively try to hop off it so we gotta do their check ups on the ground and i typically will hold them or at least brookie she freeks out if anyone else holds her for claw trimming or check ups does very angry sounding honks n grunts the entire time. Till shes back in her carrier then thumps like crazy for a while till i get her back n the truck. They also will stress out n the waiting room usually with brooke in particular and tarah too i gotta open the door of their kennel place it on my lap and pet them gently to calm them down. They also do the trust thing u were talking about that dogs do with the love of their owners and the look of disaproval and betrayal. Once we get home they will usually chill in their bunny runs for a while ill give them some bananna which they may or may not eat right away within 30 or so minutes of bein home they r back to normal but will be annoyed with me the entire day.번역 보기
