Jeff, Thanks for the Lyman Bostock story. In 1977, my dad, brother and I traveled around the country and saw a MLB game in each of the 26 home ball parks in one month. I wrote articles about the trip for my hometown newspaper. During that trip we were introduced to Lyman and told him about our baseball fan adventure. He was genuinely interested. We saw the Twins play two other times on the trip and each time we met up and had conversations with Lyman... in Toronto he recognized us during batting practice and came over and say, "Hey guys, how's your trip going.?" We met dozens of cool baseball players on that trip.. Lyman was the coolest. After the trip we named our new dog after him. We were crushed when NBC news broke into programming to report about his tragic death. We were devastated.번역 보기

Thanks Jeff for the story. I am a firefighter in Gary and I had the opportunity to speak with Det. Shannon regarding this case and to this day, I'm hurt to see how it played out. It's funny you got a chance to speak to my classmate LaTroy Hawkins saying you were in Gary....lol. I really appreciate how you spoke about this story and I do remember going to that same apartment building to render aid to him. I must admit it was hard to do.번역 보기
