Those people who LOVE the cards - I believe - have the massive advantage - because they know what's special now, and they often have a head start on what will be special in the long term. But it always comes back to exactly what you described. Where does your mind go when you have extra time? If it's cards, and your collection, and you can be super calculated in your approach - not gambling, not breaking, not forcing anything, then you can build something really awesome.
