My Grandma passed away when I was in college. I hadn't started cooking yet (just student survival cooking). When I started cooking real meals, memory took over. I've recreated many of Grandma's recipes & I utilize her techniques every day. Talking to her while she cooked had a life long impact on me. I didn't recognize it at the time.
