Let me clear up some things for you Shukracharya ( the guy with one crystal eye ) is the Spiritual Guru of Asuras (The demons) He hates all the Deities because he thinks that Demons should rule the Universe as they are equally powerful as the deities He has a supernatural power called Sanjeevani Vidya ( Power to resurrect the dead ) which he uses to resurrect the Asuras (The demons slayed in battle) Because of his power no deity could defeat the Asuras as Shukracharya would resurrect them immediately. The demon Shukracharya is asking to eliminate the Human race is Raktabeeja Raktabeeja ( Literally means Blood + seed) this demon had the power that as soon as his blood drops on land, another twin of this demon would come out, there was no way to kill him, as he would multiply with each strike on his body. That's when Mother Goddess Kaali comes in, She takes up a Rudra Roop (Fierce form) and slayes the demon mentioned here, Raktabeeja She chops off his head and before his blood could fall on the ground, she collected all of his blood in a Bowl called Khappar, and drank it all Even after slaying the demon the Goddess was still extremely angry, to calm her down Lord Shiva took the form of a small baby and went in front of her amongst the deadbodies of all the demons she slayed After seeing a small baby about to be crushed under her feet, she immediately calmed down and all her anger went away Goddess Kaali is represented in this form, Multiple hands to kill multiple demons, Red tongue from her drinking the demon's blood, Lord Shiva either lying under her feet or as a small child on her lap, and the severed head of Raktabeeja in her hand with his blood dripping into a bowl held in her another hand For a long long time Western Filmmakers and Video Games have depicted Goddess Kaali and Lord Shiva in a very negative light, due to Colonialism and Racism against us But this is the perfect and true representation of our culture Goddess Kaali is the Mother Goddess she is fierce for those who commit bad deeds, but for those who love her, she loves them back like a mother does to her child번역 보기
