I have a Pembroke Welsh Corgi and I have tried several different brushes on her. None of them penitated through her thick coat. I was talking to a dog groomer and she said that I needed a slicker brush with long bristles on it. I went on Amazon and found one. He had two different ones. One for "doodles" and another type. I ordered the other type, not the one for the "doodles". I spent quite a bit of money on it and when I showed the dog groomer what I purchased she said that was the one that I needed. I love it! I groom at home and I've boughten so many grooming tools. I've used them a few times and I wasn't satisfied with them. Gucci's 5 years old and she sheds! I make an attempt to brush her daily.
