For those of us who live alone, our animals can be much more than pets. They're family, companionship and sometimes the reason we get out of bed in the morning. So I want to hear from you. Have rising food or vet costs made it harder to care for your animals? Have you ever faced the heartbreaking decision of surrendering or rehoming a pet because you simply couldn't afford the bills anymore?
