A lot of black kids grow up in homes where there's no Baseball fans and it cost too much to get kids into Baseball

Ozzie Smith, Dave Parker, Eric Davis, Vince Coleman, Jim Rice, Dave Cash, Andre Dawson, Doc Gooden, Dave Stewart, Ricky Henderson, Willie McGee, Cecil Cooper, Vida Blue, Darryl Strawberry, Barry Bonds, Ken Griffey Jr., Willie Wilson, Rod Carew,, JR Richards, Eddie Murray, Frank Thomas, Barry Larkin, Joe Morgan, Dick Allen, Reggie Jackson, George Foster, Kevin Mitchell and countless others I would run home as a kid to watch these guys play today the black youth like basketball & football .

A lot of urban areas don’t have baseball parks and it’s difficult to get 9 players with their own gloves and cleats to play consistent like basketball or football. Baseball is fun to play ,but folks want that instant action like the other sports unfortunately.
