Really interesting video! I love that the ancient Egyptian word for cat (miu) is thought be based on the sound they make, e.g. "what's that animal?" "It's a miaow" I'd love to see you do a video about Mayan architecture, that something I'd really like to learn more about.번역 보기

At the National Archaeological Museum in Athens there is a 3rd century AD marble dog, wearing a collar decorated with stones and a bell, sitting on top of a small marble sarcophagus. Somebody loved their dog so much as to order this small monument in which to place the dead animal... It remained in the much larger "hidden" Museum under the Museum, the storerooms, for almost a hundred years after its discovery , but it finally found its way to the exhibition rooms for a few months a few years back. Still, i think it's exactly this kind of exhibits that shed light on the life of ancient people, more than grandiose monuments.번역 보기
