Ramayana is the oldest epic in human history. It far predates Iliad, Odyssey, Bible, or even many other religious books. It's easily 5000 years old orally. And you can find the proof in many temples which are older than many other epics. And you can also see it mentioned in Rigveda, the oldest written scripture in the entire world. There's a reason it's called the greatest story of mankind, because there is no story older, more epic, and more influential than this story. This story has influenced and helped billions for over 5000 years. Even Odyssey uses many of the aspects from Ramayana in it. Seeing that ancient Greece and India had a long relationship, there's a possibility that Ramayana inspired Odyssey, or at the very least, Ramayana did all the themes existing in Odyssey way before Odyssey.번역 보기
