My neighbor has a rescue. Best guess was he was beat and then abandoned by a truck driver at a local truck stop. Yrs later and he still has big issues with everybody but her, her son, my husband and me. We spent over a year giving him treats through the fence and now we are proud aunt and uncle. My senior cat lost his brother and littermate to cancer. He had never been on his own and needed a friend. The local shelter had a tabby girl that they knew almost nothing about because she was a transfer from a shelter in a different town. They guessed she was about 2 and had been at the local shelter for just over a year. I have no idea why no one wanted her because she is a sweet, gentle girl who helped a cranky, hissy old man deal with his grief. They are on the bed next to me right now…and taking up most of it.번역 보기

My late cat sat at a shelter for quite a while. He was a semi feral but sweet boy. I took one look at his picture and knew he was the one. And when I called they sounded excited about my interest in Juno. He gave me the stank eye when I first met him 🤣 he hid for the first month. By the second month he got used to me. And soon he’d lay by me and loved pets and wet food. That boy loved me and I miss him (tearing up as I write this). Overlooked for being shy but was the sweetest cat in the world.
