It’s been speculated that the reason Black Ops 1 contains so many anachronistic guns despite its late 1960s setting might be due to Treyarch originally wanting the game to be set in the 1980s but higher ups at Activision wanted to include the Vietnam War so they had to change the setting to the 60s but kept the assets they made for the original draft of BO1.번역 보기

A favorite example of mine is Metal Gear Solid Peace Walker, which coincidentally shares much of its weapon roster with Black Ops 1 (down to the weird stuff like the G11). However it's implied in that game, that because these guns aren't unlocked until you get a very high R&D level, the mother base staff are literally inventing them. Same with the anachronistic models of the Walkman.번역 보기
