The music was released on October 21st, 2024, placing this trailer at most 3 months prior to cancellation. With Tencent having pulled out in June/July 2024, this makes us believe the trailer was made as part of an investment pitch to other publishers that ultimately failed. At this point, Transformers: Reactivate had been in development as a full $70 game for approximately a year and a half. It was not a F2P live-service anymore, and it would have introduced a full story campaign as a single player experience with online co-op elements. This is the first public glimpse at what that game would have looked like. A documentary about this game's long and storied 7 year development is currently in production, with the hopes of setting the record straight on what this game could have become and ultimately why it never came to be. If you have anything to share, please message myself or TFR Archive. Transformers: Reactivate a confidential unreleased trailer for a Closed Beta Test that was planned most-likely for Early 2025. Unfortunately due to the pulling of funds and higher up management issues within Splash Damage the game was cancelled officially in January of 2025. Transformers Reactivate was no longer a live service game but revamped to play more like a single player storyline with co-op elements similar to the High Moon Games.
