I saw a video once of a family that raised foxes. Lots was said and shown, but I distinctly remember seeing the kitchen and imagining it smelling like a mix between ferrets, skunks and roadkill....with the countertops and cabinets scratched up. I mean, the backyard was a fence in maze of tunnels for them and the house was their "free for all" area and it was more than obvious. One of the counters in the kitchen "belonged" to a certain fox. But they are mischievous and curious and apparently have poor memories because they like to raid the cabinets all the time. Not being dogs, the owners said that once they embraced the fox behavior, those things stopped being a problem. It was the "dog expectations" that ruin it for many people. People want a fox but what they really want is a dog larping as a fox. They want the annoying stuff to be able to be commanded out of the fox. The smell is no joke. I got some fox urine for outside of a house that I had a mouse problem at. It was in the middle of a corn field.....and my landlord used Amish AC....so it was a losing battle. Only way to keep them somewhat away was to make them think that there was a predator nearby....and there is one for sure scent for that task lol.번역 보기
